Nikolaev Alumina Works has received unique equipment for continuous removal of large particles from slurry that comes from bauxite mills.
“This equipment will let us divide blow-off slurry into production slurry and sand, thus increasing the effectiveness of our manufacturing process. We would also be able to process high-quality Hawaiian and Brazilian bauxites, as well as Guinean. This is one of the cheapest types of raw materials that we work with, but it contains a lot of sand”, said the company in its statement. (Ukrainian metal)
