As of February 2, Ukraine imported 82.03% of its annual quota for steel seamless casing pipes with diameter of up to 406.4 mm.
According to the Ministry of economic development and trade, from October 1, 2015 till September 30, 2016 the quota is 19505 tons. As of February 2, Ukraine received licenses for the supply of 16 thousand tons of pipes. Ukraine can still import 3505 tons of pipes.
So far Russia has used 99.99% of its quota (13.86 thousand tons, it can still supply 2 tons), Austria used 74.77% of its quota (2137 tons allowed, 721 tons remain). Romania (245 tons), Slovakia (199 tons), India (84 tons) and China (56 tons) haven’t used their quotas yet. (Ukrainian metal)
