At the moment the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works operates at 75% of its capacities, while Azovstal – at 50%.
Khartsyzsk Pipe Works (KhTZ) is also scheduled for reopening as the orders have come in.
“As of today Metinvest Mariupol works are working at 60% of their capacities. But this changes each day. If we get orders, we increase capacities, if we don’t we decrease them”, said the group CEO Yuri Ryzhenkov.
“KhTZ was idle as we didn’t have any orders. But we will be working there for two weeks”, he added.
Khartsyzsk Pipe Works will make products for repair works at Ukrainian gas-transporting system, as well as for some consumers from Asia. (Ukrainian metal)
