In October Ukraine produced 999 thousand tons of steel, without continuous cast semi-finished products, down by 4.5% YoY.
According to the State Statistics Service, these figures do not include the temporarily occupied territory of Crimea and the Antiterrorist operation zone.
In January-October Ukraine produced 9243 thousand tons of steel, down by 14.1% YoY.
At the same time pig iron output in October increased by 19% YoY and by 1.7% MoM, to 2066 thousand tons. In January-October Ukraine produced 18054 thousand tons of pig iron, down by 15.6% YoY.
Rolled metal manufacture in October increased by 1.8% YoY, to 1021 thousand tons, down by 9.1% MoM. In 10 months Ukraine produced 10069 thousand tons of rolled metal, down by 18.9% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
