State enterprise Lvivugol intends to increase its coal output two times, or by 1.5 million tons, to 3 million tons by 2020.

“By 2020 our output would reach some 3 million tons of coal”, said the acting general director of the company Andrei Dyachenko.

To increase productivity the company needs to modernize some of its mines.

In 2016 coal output is expected to increase by 33.3%, or by 0.5 million tons, to 2 million tons. (Ukrainian metal)
