In June Ukraine produced 6709 thousand tons of iron ore and iron ore concentrate, up by 0.1%, or by 6 thousand tons MoM.
In particular iron ore output increased by 11.9%, or by 118 thousand tons, to 1109 thousand tons, while concentrate manufacture went down by 2%, or by 112 thousand tons, to 5600 thousand tons.
Sinter output in June decreased by 6.3%, or by 194 thousand tons MoM, to 2863 thousand tons, while that of pellets – by 9.6%, or by 188 thousand tons, to 1778 thousand tons.
In January-June Ukraine produced 39477 thousand tons of iron ore and concentrate, down by 4.8%, or by 1997 thousand tons YoY. (Ukrainian Metal)
