In January-June Ukrainian refractory companies produced 102 thousand tons of wares, down by 26% YoY. Panteleymonovka and Krasnogorovka Refractory Works are still idle.
Iron ore output in the first half year totaled: 6.6 million tons of sinter ore, down by 5% YoY, 32.9 million tons of iron ore concentrate, down by 5% YoY, 11.1 million tons of pellets, down by 6% YoY.
Yuzhny Mining and Processing Works produced 760 thousand tons of sinter, down by 39% YoY.
Deliveries to the local market fell by 38% YoY, or by 6.4 million tons, to 10.6 million tons. At the same time export deliveries went up by 18% YoY, or by 3.4 million tons, to 22.9 million tons.
As of July 1 mining companies store 2.92 million tons of iron ore raw materials, including 1.77 million tons of sinter ore, 920 thousand tons of concentrate, 20 thousand tons of sinter and 210 thousand tons of pellets.
An average daily furnace coke output in June went up by 1.2 thousand tons MoM, to 28.2 thousand tons. In June Ukraine produced 847 thousand tons of coke, with 4.53 million in the first half year, down by 37% YoY.
Metal wares output in January-June decreased by 21% YoY, to 85 thousand tons. (Ukrainian metal)
