In January-April Ukrainian metal companies produced 10.08 million tons of carbon steel, down by 8.8% YoY.
In the given period pig iron output totaled 9.41 million tons, down by 2.7% YoY, while rolled metal production decreased by 8.5%, to 8.98 million tons.
In 2013 Ukrainian metal companies produced 29.03 million tons of rolled metal, 32.68 million tons of steel and 29.11 million tons of pig iron, all up by respectively 0.3%, 0.9% and 2.1% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
