Dzerzhinsky decreases rolled output

In January 2014 Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky, a part of the Industrial Union of Donbass corporation, decreased rolled output by 13%, to 231 thousand tons, as compared with January 2013.

In January the works decreased its steel smelting by 14.5%, to 225 thousand tons, while pig iron manufacture fell by 18%, to 201 thousand tons.

In January the company planned to produce 220 thousand tons of steel and 198 thousand tons of pig iron.

In December 2013 the works produced 233 thousand tons of rolled metal, 223 thousand tons of steel and 200 thousand tons of pig iron.

In February Dzerzhinsky plans to produce 203 thousand tons of steel and 179 thousand tons of pig iron. (Ukrainian metal)
