In 2012 the crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 6.419 million tons, up by 12.6% YoY.
In addition in 2012 ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 13.2% increase year on year in its finished steel output to 5.592 million tons. During the period in question pig iron production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 14.6% YoY to 5.610 million tons.
In December 2012 crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 0.5% to 550,500 tons, output of finished steel went up by 3.3% to 483,100 tons and production of pig iron moved up by 1.8% to 486,400 tons all on YoY basis. (SteelGuru)
