In the January-November period of the current year the crude steel production of ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, the Ukrainian subsidiary of the global steel giant ArcelorMittal, totaled 5.869 million tons, up by 13.8% YoY.
In addition, in the first 11 months of the year ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih registered a 14.3% YoY increase in its finished steel output to 5.109 million tons.
During the period in question, pig iron production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 16% YoY to 5.123 million tons.
In November alone crude steel production at ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih increased by 5.8% YoY to 562,500 tons, output of finished steel went up by 15.7% YoY to 498,700 tons and production of pig iron moved up by 5% YoY to 485,100 tons (SteelGuru)
