In August 2012 Ukraine’s crude steel production is predicted to total 2.68 million tons, down by 4% compared to June.
Pig iron output in Ukraine will amount to 2.3 million tons in August, down by 5.3% YoY, while production of rolled steel in the given month is expected to total 2.45 million tons, down by 1.5% compared to June.
In July Ukrainian companies plan to produce 2.87 million tons of crude steel, 2.46 million tons of pig iron and 2.56 million tons of rolled steel. (SteelOrbis)
