In the first 11 months of 2011 Ukraine registered a 9.9% increase YoY in its flat steel imports to 850,000 tons. In November 2011 Ukraine’s flat steel imports decreased by 1.8% compared to October 2011 to 89,500 tons.
On the other hand, in the first 11 months of 2011 Ukrainian flat steel exports increased by 14.6% YoY to 6.877 million tons. In November 2011 Ukrainian flat steel exports increased by 0.7% MoM to 528,700 tons. (SteelOrbis)
