ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih sees drop in Q1 crude steel output

It is reported that ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih’s, the Ukraine-based subsidiary of the world’s largest integrated metals and mining company ArcelorMittal, operations in March were stable with output being at the same level as in the first two months of the year. However, the company steel outputs both in March and in Q1 registered decreases compared to the same period last year.
In March ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih completed the major overhaul at the sintering unit No. 2 at its sintering shop No. 2.
Mr. Aleksandr Ioskov, ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih’s acting CEO, said “The completion of this important stage gives us certain production prospects for the coming months”.
