DMZ sees decreased output in January

It is reported that in January 2011 Ukrainian mill Donetsk Iron and Steel Works (DMZ) produced 42,000 tons of crude steel, down by 14.3%, 39,000 tons of rolled steel products, down by 20.4% YoY, and 120,000 tons of pig iron, down by 7.7% YoY.
In 2010 DMZ increased its rolled steel products output by 12% YoY to 530,000 tons, kept its crude steel output at the levels of the previous year (529,000 tons) but decreased its pig iron production by 5.7% YoY to 1.316 million tons. (SteelOrbis)
