According to the information, issued by the Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, from October 1 to December 1 Russia and other countries utilized 81.9% of the new annual quota imposed by Ukraine for seamless steel casing and tubing imports with outside diameter up to 406.4 mm supplying a total of around 13,065 tons.
The total quota for the period starting from October 1 2010 through September 30 2011 stands at 15,955 tons of seamless steel casing and tubing imports, up by 725 tons compared to the previous annual quota, of which 86.23% was utilized.
