DEMZ ups steel output in 10 months by 45% YoY

It is reported that Donetsk Electrometallurgical Plant (DEMZ) in January to October increased its steel smelting volume by 45% YoY to 626,600 tons.
According to the company, since April it has been operating at stable levels, with its steel output amounting to an average of 87,200 tons per month, which corresponds to its designed capacity. In October, DEMZ smelted 91,800 tons of liquid steel.
DEMZ says that it is fully secured with all necessary raw materials. Within the framework of preparations for operation in winter, in October the steelmaker increased its scrap stocks by 12,000 tons.
In November DEMZ plans to smelt about 87,000 tons of steel. (SteelOrbis)
