Most of Ukraine’s largest steel mills boosted finished roll production in January to September.
ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, the country biggest steel mill, said it raised finished roll production tentatively by 23.3% YoY to 3.973 million tons.
Azovstal increased roll output by 31.8% YoY to 3.844 million tons and the Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works raised it by 24.1% to 2.778 million tons.
Zaporizhstal edged roll output up by 2.3% to 2.092 million tons, the Alchevsk Iron and Steel Works, a member of the Industrial Union of Donbass group, cut roll output by 19.5% YoY to 2.06 million tons and IUD’s Dneprovsky Iron and Steel Works named after Dzerzhinsky cut it by 23.9% to 1.882 million tons.
