Mr. Rinat Starkov, CEO of ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih, said that “Part of the decline in August production was due to unsatisfactory work of the sinter plant”, adding that this allowed the company to reduce its finished product inventories in warehouses and to improve its working capital.
He added that “Our plans for September are to stabilize production and look at the market. Yet, the signals from the market, I would say, are restrained.” (SteelOrbis)
