It is reported that in comparison with Q1 2009 this year Ukrainian steelmakers increased exports of steel products by 4.6% to 5.664 million tons.
In March compared to February export increased by 39.8% to 2.186 million tons.
As for the product structure in export shipments in Q1 2010 compared to the same period of previous year, semis decreased by 10.9% to 2632 million tons, finished flat steel increased by 8.3% to 1.543 million tons, finished long steel products increased by 43.7% to 1.489 million tons. (Rusmet.ru)
