It is reported that in February in comparison with January Ukraine has reduced production of pig iron by 10.9% to 2.084 million tons.
In general during January to February 2010 compared to the same of 2009 production of pig iron at Ukrainian mills increased by 15.2% to 4.42 million tons.
In January 2010 as compared to December 2009 production of pig iron in the country decreased by 0.8% to 2.337 million tons. In 2009 compared to 2008 production of pig iron decreased by 13% to 25.673 million tons. (Minprom)
