It is reported that the Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding has announced that in October this year its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works manufactured a total of 30,656 tons of large diameter pipes down by 76% MoM.
During the month in question, KhPW continued the production of LD pipes with internal and external anticorrosive coating, manufacturing a total of 29,222 tons down about 73% compared to September this year.
The company said that the MoM decrease in its October output was due to capital repairs of equipment carried out at KhPW’s main workshops.
In January to October this year, KhPW produced 483,226 tons of large diameter pipes up by 170% with the output of pipes with anticorrosive coating totaling 485,028 tons up by 200% YoY both compared to the same period last year. (SteelGuru)
