Khartsyzsk Pipe Works issues July operational results

The Ukrainian iron ore and steel producer Metinvest Holding has announced that in July its subsidiary Khartsyzsk Pipe Works manufactured a total of 48,116 tonnes of large diameter pipes up by 10.5%MoM.

In July KhPW continued production of 0 1,067mm 15.9mm and K55 720mm 8mm large diameter pipes with anticorrosive coating, and started production of 10G2FB pipes of 1,420mm 19.2mm and 1,420mm 21.8mm diameter and of K56 pipes of 1,220mm 12.5mm all with internal and external anticorrosive coating.

In July, KhPW’s total output of the pipes in question amounted to 47,081 tonnes up by 3.9% compared to June with its deliveries for the same month reaching 48,600 tonnes of pipes most of which were supplied for the Central Asia-China gas pipeline project.

In January to July this year, KhPW produced 350,799 tonnes of large diameter pipes with output of pipes with anticorrosive coating totaling 355,355 tonnes. (SteelOrbis)
