In January-July Ukrainian companies increased rolled metal consumption by 18.5% YoY, to 2.036 million tons.
Rolled metal exports totaled 10.618 million tons, up from 8.477 million tons in H1 2016.
In particular Ukraine exported 2.8 million tons of long rolled metal (2.091 million tons in H1 2016), 2.9885 million tons of flat rolled metal (2.925 million tons) and 4.833 million tons of semi-finished products (3.461 million tons).
At the same time Ukraine imported 198.6 thousand tons of long rolled metal (267.9 thousand tons) and 376.2 thousand tons of flat rolled metal (410.7 thousand tons). (Ukrainian metal)
