The damage to the Gorlovka – Toretskoye water pipeline resulted in flooding of mines, and because of methane the citizens of Toretsk are under constant threat of explosion and gas poisoning.
The pipeline was damaged in early January as the result of the shelling. And the water is flooding the Yuzhnaya mine and mine named after Artem.
Methane, which is driven by water to the surface, gets into basements of housing and manufacturing buildings, which could lead to explosion and gas poisoning. (Ukrainian metal)
