Evraz ZSMK has started producing V500V wire rod with the 10-40 mm diameter according to the British standard.
This will allow Evraz to increase exports volume of wire rod and strengthen its position on the foreign market of construction rolled metal.
The trial batch has been tested by CARES and confirmed its correspondence to BS 4449-2005.
Wire rod manufactured according to the British standard has good prospects. This standard is in demand in India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, as well as Australia and New Zealand. (Ukrainian metal)
