Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works has started the next stage of the large investment project – the assembly of the roof metal structures of the fourth continuous casting machine building.
“1.5 thousand tons of metal structures have been assembled so far”, the manager of the project Vladimir Kozlovsky reported.
Foundation is also laid for the main machinery.
The new machine will be 2.5 times as environment-friendly as the tough European standards dictate.
Soon the company will start assembling the pouring crane with the lifting capacity of 225 tons. (Ukrainian metal)
