Cargo throughput at St. Petersburg based Neva-Metal container / general cargo terminal in January-July edged up by 1% YoY, to nearly 1,8 million tons, the stevedoring company reported.

In the seven-month period container traffic at the terminal totaled nearly 55,000 TEUs.

CJSC Neva-Metal is a part of a transport division of Severstal Russian Steel of Severstal Group. Neva-Metal is based in the 3rd Cargo Area of Big Port St. Petersburg and specializes in handling containerized and general cargoes delivered to the facility by marine and rail transport and by trucks.

In 2016, the stevedore handled about 3.2 million tons. (Portnews/Ukrainian metal)
