Asha Iron and Steel Works is assembling a new electric muffle furnace at its sheet-rolling shop No. 3.
When the new machinery is put into operation, the cycle of thermo-chemical treatment of bands of heat- and corrosion-resistant steel and alloys produced at the company will be complete.
The workspace of the furnace is 750 mm. The furnace will be able to thermally treat metal with the width of 400-650 mm. The thickness of metal could be 0.05-1 mm.
The construction of the furnace began in summer 2016, and it was delivered to the shop in spring 2017. (Ukrainian metal)
