In January-June the Industrial Metallurgical Holding produced 1.15 million tons of coking coal, up by 24% YoY.
The increase is the result of the start of operations at the mine named after Tikhov and the second stage of the Bitovskaya mine. The combined capacity of the 2 mines is 3.4 million tons of coking coal per year.
Coke output totaled 1.34 million tons.
Iron ore production at KMAruda increased by 3%, to 2.58 million tons. Iron ore concentrate output went up by 1%, to 1.13 million tons.
Tulachermet in H1 produced 1.16 million tons of pig iron, up by 3% YoY. (Ukrainian metal)
