In January-June Kemerovo region enterprises increased coal output by 10% YoY, to 118.3 million tons, with exports up by 15%.
The highest growth was demonstrated by SUEK-Kuzbass (by 1.8 million tons), Kiyzassky Open-Pit (by 1.7 million tons), Kuzbassrazrezugol (by 1.2 million tons), Raspadskaya Coal Company and Stroyservice (by 1.1 million tons each).
Coal deliveries to customers in 6 months increased by 9% YoY, to 112.3 million tons.
The region also exported 69 million tons of coal, up by 15%. The main importers were South Korea, Japan, UK and Turkey. (Ukrainian metal)
