In 2017 Tugnuysky Open-Pit Mine, a part of SUEK, intends to extract 13.5 million tons of coal, retaining the last year level.
Nikolskoye deposits will provide 2 million tons of coal, the rest will be mined at Olon-Shibirskoye deposits.
In 5 years reserves of the latter will be thinning out, while mining at Nikolskoye deposits will increase.
Tugnuysky Open-Pit has been operating at Olon-Shibirskoye deposits since 1989, having mined 150 million tons of coal.
The operation of Nikolskoye deposits began in 2013. Its estimated reserves stand at 280 million tons of coal. (Ukrainian metal)
