In January-May Belarus exported $727.7 million worth of metal.
According to the State Statistics Committee, the metal share in the total industrial exports was 6.8%.
Rolled steel exports increased by 6.8% YoY, iron and steel wire – by 42.1%, steel pipes – by 3.8%, and metal structures – by 3.4%.
Rolled metal amounted to 32.8% of all steel exports.
Metal manufacture in 5 months increased by 9.7%, to Br21.412 billion. (Ukrainian metal)
