The Industrial-Metallurgical Holding has put into operation two new mines in Kemerovo region: the second stage of Butovskaya mine and the mine named after Tikhov.
Investments into construction of Tikhov mine totaled 12,5 billion rubles. The project capacity of the first stage is 1.8 million tons. This year 1 million tons of coking coal will be mined. The mine created 1500 jobs.
The second stage of Butovskaya mine increased capacity to 2.7 million tons per year from 1.1 million tons. Investments totaled 7 billion rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
