ArcelorMittal Temirtau and Linde have signed an agreement to carry out preliminary work for construction of the second air-separating machine.

The machine will produce oxygen, nitrogen and argon, used in the manufacture of pig iron, steel and rolled metal.

It is planned to put the machine into operation in November 2019.

“We’ve been cooperating with Linde for a long time. Back in 2012 we put our first joint project into operation – the air-separating machine No. 1. I hope our cooperation will last long”, AMT CEO Paramjit Kahlon said. (Ukrainian metal)
