The U.S. has extended the agreement on price obligations with regard to Ukrainian pipe products, which provides for the abolition of the antidumping duty for Ukrainian producers involved in pipe exports, according to Ukraine’s Trade Envoy Nataliya Mykolska.

“The U.S. Department of Commerce decided to extend the agreement on price obligations for pipe products. Thus, Ukrainian producers of pipes can continue selling their products duty-free,” Mykolska wrote on Facebook.

The U.S. Department of Commerce in February 2014 announced a preliminary decision in an antidumping investigation. According to the ministry’s decree, a preliminary antidumping duty of 5.31% was set for imports of oil and gas pipes from Ukraine. Later the same year, Ukraine and the United States signed an agreement effectively lifting the duties for the export of Ukrainian products, which expired on July 10. (UNIAN/Ukrainian metal)
