In May, according to the customs statistics, Russia exported 391.5 thousand tons of ferrous metals scrap, down by 13.2% MoM and by 29% YoY.

In April the figures stood at +29% and –33% respectively.

In January-May Russia exported 1.64 million tons of scrap, down by 28% YoY. And this is also the lowest result for the past 7 years.

Turkey imported 35% of the scrap, with Belarus importing 32% and South Korea 20%. (Ukrainian metal)
