Throughput of Rosterminalugol JSC, the largest dedicated coal port in the Baltic region, a part of Russia’s largest coal port holding Port Management Company LLC, is to grow by 16%, to 21 million tons in 2017, Yevgeny Korban, Managing Director of the terminal, declared.

According to him, investments will total some RUB 300 million in 2017. In 2018, the scope of the investments is expected to be the same.

In 2016, throughput of Rosterminalugol grew by 3.4% YoY, to a record high result of 18 million tons (over 60% of coal transshipment in the ports of Russia’s Baltic Basin). (Portnews/Ukrainian metal)
