Aleksandrinskaya Mining and Ore Company, a part of Russian Copper Company, has started a major modernization process at its processing factory.
In particular, the ceramic vacuum filter will be replaced by the hydraulic filter-press.
The new filter produced in Spain will decrease moisture contents in copper and zinc concentrate from 12% to 8%.
“The copper concentrate from AGRK processing factory is supplied to Karabashmed. The decrease of the moisture in the concentrate will improve the quality of copper”, the company CEO Natalia Bodarenko noted.
The delivery of the equipment and its assembly are scheduled for Q4. The total cost of the project is 45 million rubles. (Ukrainian metal)
