Uralskaya Kuznitsa has started producing rods of special steel grades and heat-resistant alloys for aviation engine building.
The quality of the new products has been confirmed by the Aviation materials research institute.
UralKuz manufactures new products together with Izhstal and Beloretsk Iron and Steel Works. UralKuz smelts steel and alloys and produces rods and billets for rolling, Izhstal rolls the billets, while BMK makes rods with special finish.
The new rods will be used in the manufacture of parts of aviation engines. (Ukrainian metal)
