In June Ukrazaliznytsia held 2 large auctions on the sale of 229.04 million UAH worth of steel scrap.
Interpipe NTZ bought 22.5 thousand tons of scrap valued at 113.17 million UAH.
The company bought scrap No. 4 (wheels, tyres, beams, etc.) at 5029 UAH per ton.
Interpipe’s only competitor was ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih.
Metinvest-Resource LLC has won the auction for 24 thousand tons of scrap valued at 115.87 million UAH.
The company bought scrap No. 3 at 4828 UAH per ton. Its only competitor was Interpipe NTZ.
It should be noted that Interpipe and Metinvest are Ukrzaliznsytsia’s main suppliers of wheels and rails respectively. (Ukrainian metal)
