ArcelorMittal Kriviy Rih used to pay 0.9% of the estimated value for its 8 thousand ha of land.

On April 21, the local authorities increased the land tax to 1.01%.

With the increase of the tax, revenues of the Krivoy Rog budget have also increased.

The Opposition block deputy in the city council Valery Gresko tried lobbying the decrease of the tax, but failed. (Ukrainian metal)
