In January-May Ukraine imported 483.56 thousand tons of ferrous metals valued at $399.24 million.
The share of ferrous imports in the total volume in money terms reached 2.1%.
In particular, Ukraine imported 280.01 thousand tons of flat-rolled carbon steel valued at $204.66 million, 24.44 thousand tons of ferroalloys ($53.01 million), 72.44 thousand tons of carbon rods ($36.65 million) and 11.95 thousand tons of scrap ($10.24 million).
In May Ukraine imported $107.83 million worth of ferrous metals.
In January-May imports of ferrous metal wares totaled $292.93 million (1.6% share in total imports), with $66.2 million imported in May. (Ukrainian metal)
