In January-April Russia imported 228.2 thousand tons of galvanized steel, up by 34.7% YoY.

The main supplier was Kazakhstan with the share of 58%. The average price on the Russian border in April was $741.7 per ton. Supplies from Kazakhstan increased by 89% YoY, prices – by 43%.

Then comes Ukraine with the share of 20% and the price of $655 per ton. Imports from Ukraine increased by 32% YoY, and price – by 45%.

Third is South Korea (10%, $785.3 per ton). It increased exports to Russia by 4.3% YoY, but decreased price by 4%. (Ukrainian metal)
