The state enterprise Yuzhnodonbasskoye No. 1 Mine Group (Donetsk region) has put into operation a new long face with the reserves of around 500 thousand tons.
This will allow the enterprise to mine some 800 tons of coal per day.
The face was prepared in May. The cost of the work was 39.2 million UAH, of which 30 million UAH were a loan provided by the Ministry of energy and coal industry.
Yuzhnodonbasskoye No. 1 was put into operation on 1973. It employs over 3.5 thousand people. (Ukrainian metal)
