In 2017 the mining company Lunen intends to extract 100 thousand tons of iron ore at the Berezovskoye Deposits in Zabaikalsky krai.
In 2014-2016 the company mined 270 thousand tons of iron ore.
The initial project on the deposits development presupposed the mining of 10 million tons of ore per year and the construction of a mining and processing works.
It was also planned to produce 2 million tons of pig iron billets to sell domestically and to export to China. (Ukrainian metal)
