The Ministry of Trade and industry of Egypt has imposed temporary duties on the imports of rebars from Ukraine, China and Turkey for 4 months.
According to the ministry, the duty for Ukraine is 15-27%.
“The decision was taken after an investigation at the request of the local manufacturers who could not compete with the imported goods”, the statement reads. (Ukrainian metal)
