In January-May Mariupol Ilyich Iron and Steel Works produced 1.102 million tons of rolled metal, up by 1.2% YoY.
According to the company statement, steel output went up by 0.7%, to 1.231 million tons, while that of pig iron dropped by 1.1%, to 1.5 million tons.
In May the works produced 232 thousand tons of rolled metal and 262 thousand tons of steel, as well as 389 thousand tons of pig iron, all up from April figures. (Ukrainian metal)
