Severstal has been selected the supplier of rolled metal till August to Renault-Nissan.
The Cherepovets Iron and Steel Works sheet will be used in production of cars.
“In 2016 CherMK put into operation a cold-rolling mill, which would improve the quality of the cold-rolled metal and would produce wider sheet”, Severstal Management sales director Evgeniy Chernyakov noted.
Severstal has also signed agreements with other major car manufacturers, in particular with Kamaz and Gaz. (Ukrainian metal)
