The development of the Amulsar gold deposits is the largest investment project of Armenia.
Total investments in the project will reach some $370 million.
570 builders are involved in the construction work, with 280 being locals. The mine will create 700 jobs.
The project started in August 2016, while preliminary work began in 2006.
The mine will be operated for 10 years and 4 months. Annual output is expected at the level of 200 thousand ounces of gold. (Ukrainian metal)
